Keep your life in your bag! These 18 everyday purse essentials will get you through almost any situation or crisis and keep you prepared for all of life’s surprises. I hate being without something, and I especially hate having to ask a stranger for a handout.
The first thing is to get yourself an awesome purse that will carry your items through multiple scenarios! My favorite style of purse is a tote bag with an added shoulder strap. Not always the easiest to find, but a strap is something you can easily add.
You’ll be able to carry all your items, possibly even your laptop plus the weight strain will be alleviated from the strap.
Purse Essentials Start With The Perfect Work Tote
A nylon work bag is ideal. It’s durable and sturdy.
1. Comfy Foldable Shoes
I love Silky Toes! What do we do to our feet? Really in the name of vanity? LOL. Save your toesies and your shoes. If your feet are hiding under your desk, you might as well be comfortable.
Silky Toes come in tons of different colors, they fold up and even come in their own little silk bag. Really cute and they match almost any outfit.
2. Business Cards Are Definitely a Purse Essential
There are lots of companies to choose from when it comes to your business cards! My favorite by far is Moo. If you’re in business for yourself and you’re without a business card you are missing out on spreading your brand, making connections, and earning money.
Can you get enough of these? I can’t! They’re beautiful and completely customizable. Business cards are a necessity.
I know lots of Etsy sellers that use their business cards to hold their jewelry. You can even add a discount code to up your business.
3. A Card Case
Boost your credentials by pulling out your business cards in style.

Your genius ideas need a place to be organized. I love how colorful these are by Miliko, plus they’re sturdy. I definitely consider notebooks to be part of my purse essentials. It’s awful to have a great idea and nowhere to jot it down.
These cat pens are highly rated and super adorable! Get an 8 pack in case anyone gets itchy fingers.
5. A Healthy Snack Is Always Part of My Purse Essentials
Buying in bulk on sites like Amazon will save you money in the long run. Random snacks can cost you a lot if you’re picking them at gas stations, or at work vending machines.
Keeping a couple of snacks in your bag will also keep you from derailing your eating plan. Here are 3 of my favorite snacks! Yum!!

Most people are either trying to get more moisture to their skin or keep oil away. Use the toner as a moisturizer and the oil blotter as a way to not reapply for extra makeup.

So true! With that combo we are prepared for everything. Thanks for the comment and for stopping by. I can’t wait to check out your blog too.
Thank you, I have never though about having most of these items organized in one bag. Great tips…

Love the foldable shoes!

This is great! I actually carry most of these but I’ve never been good at bringing along a tide pen. I also carry along a rolly perfume applicator. I love it!
Thanks for the suggestion Ashley! A roll perfume applicator is great. I’ll bet something like that would be ideal for someone with essential oils too! I appreciate the comment.
Always have a couple of band aids as well as a few safety pins. When traveling I always have a few Imodium tablets and as old fashioned as it seems, I include a hankie.
That is so smart!
