Match Content to Pin Title
Nothing is more annoying than clickbait. A reader won’t bounce if you provide quality information. If you’re going to pin something, make sure that it’s not a gimmick. Give your reader quality content, don’t just ask for a follow or require a subscription. When that happens to me, I feel cheated and quickly bounce.
Give readers a really big carrot for visiting your site, if you want them to sign up for something more. The reader has already made the effort to learn the information.
Advertise Yourself Using Your Pinterest Marketing Techniques
One-third of the content that you share should directly benefit you. Whether you’re sharing a blog post, a picture, or social media, don’t waste all your time only sharing other people’s content. It’s great to share extra content, but you want to direct viewers to your site.
Internet odds say any link has a 2% chance of being clicked. Up your odds and share more of your content.
Use Tailwind Groups

2. Fill in the information and select which board you want to pin to. You can create a pin that links to your blog or wherever you want, even if you don’t post it on your blog.
I test pins all the time by posting them to Pinterest and leaving them off my blog. If they perform well, I add it to the post.

Amazon product linking is an easy unobtrusive way to monetize a post.
